“The River” is a new dramatic web series about five men abducted into an underground game of No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker where only the winner will survive. Players bet with their lives as well as their chips in the hopes of walking away with a million dollar prize and a new life. Each week, something new is learned about the players or the game and its purpose, creating a dark & twisted plot reminiscent of films such as “Saw” and “Twelve Angry Men.”
